Terms & Conditions
Version 2026-10-27. These terms apply when you request or buy advertising from El Coquí Ads.
The short version
- LOCAL is $149 a month, plus any tax that applies.
- It renews automatically every month until you cancel. No long contract, no cancellation fee.
- Cancel any time; your ad runs to the end of the month you paid for. No refunds for part of a month.
- 1 ad change a month is included; extra changes are $25 each and unused changes don't carry over.
- We review every ad before it plays and don't guarantee views, visits or sales.
1. Who we are and what we provide
El Coquí Ads is operated by El Coqui Coffee LLC, a Florida limited liability company (“we”, “us”). We show your advertisement in rotation on digital screens inside El Coquí Bakery locations. Your order (the online request or order form that names your package, location, start date and price) and these terms are the whole agreement between us and the business that places the order (“you”).
An ad change means updating or replacing material you provide. Creating new designs, editing video or producing new material is a separate paid service.
2. Packages and prices
Only the LOCAL package is offered today: one location, regular rotation, $149 per month, with 1 ad change per month. NETWORK and DOMINATE are not yet offered. We don't offer discounts or promotions. An extra ad change costs $25; unused changes don't carry over. We may change prices for future months with at least 30 days' written notice; a new price applies from your next renewal after that notice.
3. Automatic renewal and cancellation
- Automatic renewal: your service renews every month, on the same day of the month it started, and is charged or invoiced until you cancel.
- Cancel any time the same way you signed up: online, or by emailing elcoquicoffee@gmail.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid month, and your ad keeps running until then.
- No partial refunds: fees already paid aren't refunded for an unused part of a month, except where the law requires it or as section 5 says.
- Late or failed payments: we'll tell you and try again. If a payment is still unpaid 7 days after it's due, we may pause your ad until it's paid; paused days aren't credited.
- We can end the agreement with 30 days' notice and refund prepaid fees for the time after service ends, or right away if you seriously break these terms (for example prohibited content or fraud).
4. Your ad: requirements and approval
- Format: a landscape (16:9) PNG, JPEG or WebP image, or an MP4 video from 5 to 30 seconds. Our screens are 4K, so we recommend 3840 × 2160; 1920 × 1080 is the minimum we accept. Sound is not played.
- Not allowed: anything illegal; tobacco, vaping, cannabis or alcohol products; weapons; adult or sexual content; gambling; political or issue ads; false, misleading or hateful content; health claims you can't support; and anything that infringes someone else's rights.
- Review: we review every ad before it plays, usually within one business day. We may refuse or remove an ad that breaks these rules or isn't suitable for a family bakery. A replacement for a refused ad doesn't use an ad change. Your approved ad keeps playing until its replacement is approved.
5. Scheduling, outages and results
Your ad runs in regular rotation with other local businesses while the bakery is open, starting on the date in your order. Each screen takes a limited number of advertisers, and your spot is confirmed only once payment and any review in section 6 are complete. If your ad doesn't play for more than 3 opening days in a row because of a problem on our side, we'll credit those days on your next bill. Store closures and events outside our control aren't credited.
We report the days your ad was scheduled and the bakery's estimated daily foot traffic. Estimated visits are people entering the bakery, not a count of people who saw your ad. We don't guarantee any number of views, visits, calls, sales or other results.
6. Payments, fraud checks and disputes
- You authorize us to charge or invoice you each month, and for any extra ad changes or services you order, until you cancel. Card payments are handled by our payment processor; we never see or store your full card number or security code.
- Payments may be screened for fraud and may need extra checks. Your ad won't go live while a payment is blocked or under review. We may ask you to confirm your business details, and may cancel an order if a payment is unauthorized.
- Please contact us first about any billing question at elcoquicoffee@gmail.com. If you dispute a charge with your bank, we may pause your ad while the dispute is open and may share the records of your order, acceptance of these terms, payments, ad approvals and the days your ad ran.
7. Your material and our responsibility
- Your material stays yours. You let us copy, resize and display your ad on our screens during the agreement and for 30 days after.
- You promise you own or have permission to use everything in your ad (logos, photos, music, people's images), that it's truthful and lawful, and that you can agree to these terms for your business. You'll cover our reasonable costs if someone makes a claim against us because of your ad's content.
- To the extent the law allows, our total responsibility under these terms is limited to the fees you paid in the 3 months before the claim, and neither of us is responsible for indirect or lost-profit damages. Apart from what these terms say, the service is provided as is.
8. Privacy, records and general terms
- We use your contact and billing details to provide the service, bill you and contact you about your account, as described in our Privacy notice. We don't sell them.
- You accept these terms by checking the box when you request your spot or check out. We record the version you accepted, the date and time, and your internet (IP) address, and keep these records for at least 5 years after the agreement ends.
- We may update these terms with 30 days' notice; changes apply from your next renewal, and you can cancel before then if you don't agree.
- Florida law applies. You can't transfer the agreement without our consent. If one part can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
